About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Solution Sales Engineer to join our fast-growing cross-disciplinary team. In this role, you will drive the adoption of our world-leading laser nanomanufacturing equipments, ultrafast Fiber Bragg Gratings (UFBGs), and self-cooling films across key industries such as laser nanofabrication, ICT and quantum technology, Clean Tech and MedTech.
As a key link between our R&D team and customers, you will identify needs, deliver tailored technical solutions, and support the full sales cycle—from opportunity discovery to post-sale support.
Key Responsibilities

Engage with clients to understand technical and application requirements and propose optimal solutions based on our product portfolio.

Drive sales of equipment systems, UFBGs, and cooling film technologies through demos, presentations, and strategic outreach in the Australian and global market.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, research institutions, and industry partners.

Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to align client feedback with product innovation.

Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and project documentation.

Attend trade shows, conferences, and client meetings to expand market presence.

Support onboarding and after-sales service, ensuring client success and satisfaction.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Photonics, Optical Engineering, Physics, Electronics, or a related field.

Proven experience in technical sales or application engineering, preferably in photonics, optics, or thermal management.

Strong understanding of optical components (e.g., FBGs), opto-electronic systems, or thermal interface materials.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions.

Willingness to travel for customer visits and events.
