About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to accelerate Innofocus’s global growth and strategic partnerships. This role will focus on identifying new market opportunities, building customer relationships, and driving commercial expansion of our award-winning product lines — including equipments and photonic devices. You will work closely with the executive, engineering, and marketing teams to strengthen Innofocus’s presence across international markets and contribute directly to our commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Strategy
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities in advanced photonics, quantum, and clean-tech sectors.
- Conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and opportunity mapping for new regions and industries.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new products and technologies.
Partnership & Client Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and research partners.
- Negotiate and close commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Represent Innofocus at industry conferences, trade shows, and consortium events worldwide.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive sales targets for photonic manufacturing equipment and OEM solutions.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and tenders in collaboration with the engineering and legal teams.
- Develop channel-partner programs and regional distributor networks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the engineering, product, and marketing teams to translate market insights into product improvements.
- Support funding, grant, and IP strategy initiatives through market validation inputs.
- Provide regular business reports and forecasts to executive management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Photonics, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships — ideally within high-tech or photonics industries.
- Strong technical understanding and ability to communicate complex technology solutions.
- Proven success in international market development and B2B sales.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
